The GRUR Expert Round Table webinar concerning the “Legal framework of a European Data Economy” will cope with one of the most intensely discussed current topics: What challenges does the development of the data economy pose for the data and IP regimes in the EU? The webinar will give insights regarding the European Strategy for Data, with a special focus on the new Open Data Directive. Moreover, taking into account the EU Commission's Roadmap IP Action Plan, aspects of IP protection of data as well as data protection issues will be discussed, bringing together representatives of the EU Commission, public lawyers and experts from private law who will debate the delineation of personal data versus industrial data and the best way to enable the data economy. All GRUR members are kindly invited to attend the webinar free of charge.

The Expert Round Table will take place in the form of a webinar via the video conferencing provider Zoom. After registration we will send you a link for the Zoom meeting and the password by e-mail.
