At its meeting on 1 September 2023, the Executive Committee decided to establish the "GRUR working group social media". The objective of the working group is to report on the activities of the GRUR association in social media networks in order to increase its visibility among young IP experts and to awaken their willingness to become members of GRUR. Furthermore, existing members are to be better addressed through a more modern way of communication. The working group is concentrating its activities on LinkedIn and X for the time being.
