GRUR Expert Round Table webinar: Legal framework of a European Data Economy

Live Webinar via Zoom

The GRUR Expert Round Table webinar concerning the “Legal framework of a European Data Economy” will cope with one of the most intensely discussed current topics: What challenges does the development of the data economy pose for the data and IP regimes in the EU?

The webinar will give insights regarding the European Strategy for Data, with a special focus on the new Open Data Directive. Moreover, taking into account the EU Commission's Roadmap IP Action Plan, aspects of IP protection of data as well as data protection issues will be discussed, bringing together representatives of the EU Commission, public lawyers and experts from private law who will debate the delineation of personal data versus industrial data and the best way to enable the data economy.
