3rd GRUR Expert Round Table 2022 - The EU Data Act

The Data Act Proposal was finally published by the EU Commission on Feb 23, 2022. Following our first Round Table on the topic in December 2021 this GRUR Expert Round Table will now look at the main issues that are covered by the EU Data Act and give a first evaluation of its adequacy and its consequences. The focus will be on access rights, fairness in B2B contracts and competitive cloud services markets.

The webinar will bring together legal experts in the field of information law and data rights and the discussion will bring forward the critical points that have been identified so far from a theoretical as well as practical point of view. Inconsistencies and prospects of different options of implementation will be subject of scrutiny and constructive discussions.
